Holy crap, I just swore off Campbell's chicken and sausage gumbo because I ate too many cans this winter! I'm so glad spring is here and I can start eating real vegetables again...

Cheers Lex and Cakes.
Sounds like we are in the same hemisphere, so I suspect that the balmy spring days will cure any lingering winter crud. If the sun has not cured you do not forget the garlic. My favorite remedy is to alternate between garlic eggdrop soup and hot toddy's with Ginger and lemon.

I just stumbled onto your fab place here in the virtual world and have been reading voraciously! I found you while trolling the web for braised lamb shanks inspiration and was hooked by the photography and content I found here.

Be well and keep up the great work!

Awwww...adorable kitties.

Hope you're over your lurgy. You are very lucky to have the bananas. Our banana industry (I'm in the other hemisphere) has been wiped our in a cyclone ~ now $7.00 a kilo and counting!

I stood behind a woman at my local fruit provider last week, who had two little girls and was trying to explain to them why they could have fresh figs, but not bananas. Never thought I'd hear the day.
