Great recipe! Another great place for these types of ingredients is Pairiso Tropical (118 ave & 93 St) We use them all the time.

Even though it's 5am, that toastada sounds magnificent! Maybe with a fried egg on top...? Hmmm... Very well done!

I was just wondering where exactly Edmonton Latino was, i drove down 118th past 104th and all i saw was ABC weddings. Is it in behind these buildings?

I'm not a foodie, but I like your blog and your recipes,(though I am mystified by your V-word entry),and I visit it periodically. Normally I lurk silently, but I felt compelled to leave this wordy comment because I thought it was strange and annoying that you should feel it necessary to make the comment about finding ingredients (Latino chilis) in Edmonton as if it's the last outpost of the known world or on the moon. It might have been considered that way once, but having lived here for many years, I can see that its restaurants have grown more diverse and that food availability here has greatly improved as the population of the city has increased in ethnic diversity. It's bad enough that you prominently display a vaguely condescending quote from the Guardian. The British media are certainly not known for giving a damn about Canada,so kudos to you for being noticed. On the flip side, if someone farts in Australia it will certainly make the front page of every British rag, so if you'd started this blog in Melbourne, the gushing would have been torrential. In any case, it would be refreshing not to read Edmonton described derisively in a blog written by an Edmontonian. Having lived in Vancouver for many years, where I was reminded of its wonderfulness on a daily basis, I can tell you that comments about Edmonton's inferiority wear pertty thin in no time.

Some time before, I needed to buy a good car for my organization but I didn't earn enough cash and couldn't purchase anything. Thank God my dude adviced to take the personal loans at trustworthy creditors. Hence, I did that and used to be happy with my bank loan.
